Hello and Happy New Year! I hope your holiday has been full of joy and happiness and that like me, you’re ready to roll into 2018.
This year has been a crazy one, from moving to a new town, to getting married, riding horses again, and everything in between! I know I haven’t been posting regularly like i’d hoped, but hey, life happens. I am very excited to see what 2018 brings, and therefore events to write about and share with you!
We are very thankful to have sold our old home this past week before the New Year (praise God!). Although it was full of wonderful memories we will cherish, we are so excited to look forward to really diving in and making our “new” home our dream home. You can finally expect more #House2Home posts that document our DIY (read, cheap!) home improvements. I am so so excited about this one!
In addition to home projects, i’m very excited to be picking up a new part time job starting in January. I’ll write more about that later, but between that, my full time job, being a wife, and loving life i’ll be writing about how I successfully manage my time.
I am also working, as always, to cut down on our monthly expenses through couponing, meal prep, and intentional living. I’ll work to bring you more information on that as well!
Finally, I’d love to start working on some more politically charged posts. I feel like politics are such a taboo subject, but i’d love to start sharing more of my thoughts and experiences, given their role in my own life and my passion for them (particularly North Carolina related issues).
In addition to all of the above, Kevin and I’s New Year’s Resolution is to get plugged into a Church family and become more involved here in Wendell. I look forward to keeping you updated on that, and if you happen to be local to the area and have any recommendations certainly send them our way.
2017 was pretty sweet, but i’m very excited to see what 2018 brings. Cheers!
